Quick Draw 1 (Scoundrel) Once per round, on the character's turn, [they] may draw or holster an easily accessible weapon or item as an incidental, instead of a maneuver. This talent also reduces the amount of time to draw or stow a weapon that usually requires more than one maneuver to properly prepare or stow, by one maneuver.
Rapid Reaction 1 (Scoundrel) The character may suffer a number of strain to add an equal number of success results to any Vigilance or Cool check to determine Initiative order. The number may not exceed [their] ranks in Rapid Reaction.
Quick Strike 1 (Scoundrel) The character adds a boost dice per rank of Quick Strike to [their] combat checks made against any target that has not yet acted in the encounter.
Side Step 1 (Scoundrel) Once per round on the character's turn, the character may perform a Side Step maneuver to try to avoid incoming ranged attacks. [They] then suffer a number of strain no greater than [their] ranks in Side Step. Until the start of the character's next turn, upgrade the difficulty of all ranged combat checks targeting the character a number of times equal to the strain suffered by the target.

Background

The Down and Out:

The player may decide that the character comes from humble or hardscrabble beginnings. Characters from this type of background strive to better themselves and do their utmost to escape their plight. The character either trains incessantly, picking up knowledge any way that they can, or simply is tough and resourceful enough to go out on their own.

Motivation

Greed:

Money is the prime motivator for this character. The character may be active in business, investing, or the tried-and-true method of theft to increase their credit bank.

Obligations

Debt:

The character owes someone a great deal, whether that debt consists of money or something else. The PC has a huge gambling debt to a Hutt. To make matters worse, depending on who owns the debt, even fully paying it off might not get the character completely off the hook—if the character can get that money, they can surely get more.

Description

Just like everyone else on Tatooine, Nimm grew up poor and the fastest way to gain money was to steal. However, Nimm would always use the money for gambling, earning him a debt with Teemo the Hutt. To pay off his debt, Nimm has been a smuggler for Teemo for the past few years.
