Medpac 1 One may perform a medical check without penalty. It adds 1 boost die to these checks. It also has a supply of 1 stimpack per encounter.
Garrote 1 A successful attack against a target causes them to become suffocated. Breaking free requires an opposed Brawl vs Brawl check, with an additional setback die for each round they have been caught.
Sap Gloves 1 Spotting these gloves requires a Daunting (4 difficulty) Perception check
Surgeon 1 When this character makes a Medicine check to help a character heal wounds, the target heals one additional wound per rank of Surgeon.
Bacta Specialist 1 Patients under the character's supervision heal one additional wound per rank of Bacta Specialist each time they heal a wound while recovering in a bacta tank or under supervised medical conditions or long-term care.
Stimpack Specialization 1 Whenever the character uses a stimpack, the target heals an additional wound per rank of Stimpack Specialization. The sixth stimpack and beyond each day still have no effect.
Stim Application 1 The character may take the Stim Application action. To perform this action, he must have access to drugs, a medpac, or stimpacks. He makes an Average (2 Purple) Medicine check. If successful, one ally he is engaged with (including himself) increases one characteristic of the character's choice by one for the remainder of the encounter, and suffers four strain. A single character's individual characteristics may each only be increased once by Stim Application during an encounter.
Improved Stim Application 1 As an incidental, when performing the Stim Application action, the character may increase the difficulty of the Medicine check to Hard (3 Purple) If he does so, the target of the action suffers one strain instead of four.
Sniper shot 1 Once per round before making a non-thrown ranged attack, the character may perform a maneuver to attempt a Sniper Shot. Sniper Shot increases the maximum range of his ranged weapon up to one range band per rank. For each rank beyond the normal maximum of the weapon, upgrade the difficulty of the check by one (this is in addition to the increased difficulty of the shot due to longer range).
True Aim 1 Once per round, before the character makes a ranged attack, he may perform a True Aim maneuver. By performing this maneuver, the character gains all the benefits for aiming and also upgrades his attack roll once per rank of True Aim

Background

While a young pup kane studied at the shistavanen institute of science and medicince. It was at this school, while studying under Marbas Volk, he would develop an interest in the darker side of science. Kane partook in many 'off the books medical procedures' to further his knowledge. It was during one of his more gruesome experiments that his school was raided by the Shistavanen Police looking for Marbas. Kane and his mentor narrowly managed to escape making it to the nearest spaceport it was there kane was forced to make a choice that would change his life irrevocably either follow Marbas off world, join the seperatists and leave his old life behind or remain on Uvena Prime and face the consequences of his actions.
Kane found life working for the seperatists to be rather pleasant. Given carte blanche to carry out his experiments he indulged his every depraved whim.
He spent several years creating cyborg monstrosities and biological weapons for the seperatists before the war ended.
After the war ended Kane spent his time as a back alley doctor helping anyone who can pay.
