Background
Relationship with the Empire: Comfortable Beneficiaries
Joining the Rebellion: The New Recruit
Clawl Narennd was a peaceful soul born into a time of burgeoning war. Clawl's home planet, Ithor, was blockaded by the CIS during the Clone Wars in order for the CIS to extort Ithor for the abundant natural resources present. As a way to protect his planet, Clawl enlisted as a medic in the Ithorian militia. The Ithorian militia was able to hold off CIS forces until the end of the war by working together with the Clone Army.
After the Clone Wars, Ithor experienced an extended period of peace and a return to normalcy. However, religious sanctions laid out by the Empire in an attempt to weed out force sensitive Ithorians was an early indication of the totalitarian regime's abuse of power.
Clawl left his home planet and joined with a group of doctors and healers that would travel all over the galaxy, bringing medicine and aid to those in need. After the Rebel Alliance formed, Clawl was approached by Sio Bey, a rebel operative, that wanted to use Clawl's status as a healer to smuggle additional supplies to rebels located on worlds that had a large Imperial presence. Clawl agreed and acted to help many rebels and rebel sympathizers until the day Sio wanted Clawl to transport a bomb to a group of rebels that would be tasked with assassinating an Imperial Starship Commander.
Clawl officially joined the Rebellion stating he would not kill as a doctor, but that he will proudly save lives as a soldier.
Motivation
Belief in Peace : Clawl believes that as long as the Empire remains in power, the galaxy will forever know war, bloodshed, and violence. He hopes to bring peace to the galaxy by overthrowing the Empire as quickly as possible. In addition, if a peaceful resolution can be found for the war, he will embrace it.
Duties
Personnel: More than machines, credits, or information, the people of the Alliance are the most important and vital assets there are, and Clawl knows this. He is devoted to seeing to their safety, well-being, and capacity for success. No one should ever be left behind: the most successful missions might not achieve every goal, but they are successful nonetheless when no one dies.
