He'd seen every holovid about the Jedi. Read every book, found every last story or piece of lore he could. His mom always said he was obsessed, and that it'd get him into trouble one day. She couldn't know how right she was.
They all said the Jedi were no more; they had betrayed the Republic and been destroyed as a result. But Mek knew that was a lie, like so much else about the Empire. He knew that the Jedi could one day again be a force for good in the galaxy, helping to maintain a new peace. But first, Jedi had to be found, and had to be helped to see their rightful place.
Fortunately, Mek knew all about the Jedi. And now, he knew a few in person...
