Yag’Dhul likely isn’t openly anti-Empire and so Givin Rebels are probably semi rare. Vantir was viewed as a bit reckless by his peers. Being a species grounded in mathematics one could argue the mathematical superiority of the Empire and the calculated risk of open rebellion, but like any species they are prone to emotional and moral swings like any other.

Vantir’s family originally operated a trade business until they were unlawfully searched and seized by an over zealous Imperial officer trying to meet quota. The startling appearance of Givin make them particularly easy to target by speciest humans and so the encounter went poorly.

Rescue came at the hands of a Rebel cell. The officer had been one of their targets who had been disrupting their supply route that happened to pass through Yag’Dhul space and is what provided Vantir’s introduction.

Since then he has grown as a worthwhile analyst intent on using his exceptional analytical skills to aid the Rebellion
