Accidental Rebel: At the time of the rise of the Empire Lan Imira was employed as law enforcement on his homeworld. For a few months there was little change to his day to day life until a sting operation against a local crime lord went awry. The Imperial installed governor of the planet caught wind there would be illegal activities transpiring after curfew on the night of the operation.

The incompetent official took a squad of stormtroopers out to arrest curfew breakers and consequently alerted the crime lord to the presence of authorities. When the firefight broke out in the streets below Lan Imira desperately fired several shots from his rooftop vantage to prevent the crime lord's escape. Unfortunately, despite wounds the criminal escaped. Meanwhile the new governor died in the chaos with the fatal shot blamed on Lan Imira.

A sympathetic colleague secretly smuggled Lan Imira offworld with barely enough time to farewell his family. In retaliation for the governor's death Lan's hometown was bombarded from orbit by a Star Destroyer. Lan spent many years as a wanted fugitive, dodging Imperial spies and fleeing from sector to sector. Eventually, he found a safe haven with Sector Force Lantillies

Rescue: A survivor from Lan Imira's hometown tracked Lan down and presented evidence of his family's survival. It appears his wife and child were kidnapped right before the bombardment. Whether by criminals or Imperial forces is unknown. Lan believes the rebellion can help him find and save his loved ones.
