Description
Once per game session, as an out of turn incidental, the character may spend 2 destiny points to ignore the effects of all Critical Injuries for 2 rounds. When this effect ends, he suffers the effects of these Critical Injuries as normal.
Upgrade Effect
Duration (2 Ranks) Unmatched Courage lasts for 2 additional rounds per Duration upgrade purchase.
Survivor (2 Ranks) While Unmatched Courage is active, add 1 Boost per Survivor upgrade purchased to checks to remove the character’s Critical Injuries.
Increase Effect While Unmatched Courage is active, whenever the character suffers strain, he may suffer that many wounds instead

Background

Assigned to the 41st Elite Corps as a marksman, ARC-45’s first combat experience was the first battle of Kamino where he lost his arm. While on mandatory medical leave he trained as a medic and returned to service under the 41st Elite Corps, helping to keep as many brother in the fight as he could. During his long tour with the Grand Army of the Republic he had the honor of fighting side by side with some of the greatest Jedi of the time. After the clone wars he took on the name Samual and worked as a mercenary protecting people who could not protect themselves, several times his training as a battlefield medic came in handy while fending off pirates and other would be thieves. Over time the small firefights made him miss the chaos of large scale battles that had taken place during the Clone Wars, so Samual sought out the Alliance in hopes that he could once again feel the rush of blaster fire passing by in chaos of war.

Served under Jedi Masters Yoda and Luminara.
Fought beside Anakin, Ahsoka, Barriss, Quinlan Vas, and Chewbacca (not a Jedi, I know)
