Meda started his career as a pilot by flying airspeeders around on his homeplanet, Mirial, transporting various passengers with a taxi service. Dreaming of a career as a starfighter pilot for the Galactic Empire is what drived him in his early career. After he tried and failed to join their Imperial Academy, he realised the Empire wasn't going to accept him any time soon. Their anti-alien policy only allowed exceptional pilots, and Meda wasn't considered one of them.

This led to him joining a mercenary company as a "trainee". When it was too late, he realized they were more like pirates. At that point, the only way out was to get killed in action or desert and being chased by bounty hunters for the rest of his life. At some point, they got into a skirmish with rebel fighters. Meda was captured and managed to convince the rebels that he wasn't their entirely voluntarily. They decided to give him a chance in the Rebellion to prove his worth as a pilot and prove their distrust is unfounded.

Conflict - Squadron: After having been given a chance to serve in a squadron of the Rebellion, allowing himself not only to be in charge of his own life again but also fulfilling his dream to become a starfighter pilot, he's determined to prove his loyalty to his comrades and reward their faith.

Recruiting - Having experienced first hand how it feels like to be a slave without bonds, Meda wants to convince as many people as he can to take up arms against injustice and the Empire by joining the Rebellion. Even those that seem beyond redemption.
