In addition to seeing flashes of the future at the GM's discretion, an lktotchi may spend TRIUMPH on a check to determine Initiative to perform a free maneuver before the encounter begins or to have an ally in short range perform a free maneuver before the encounter begins.

Background
Born to a wealthy family on Iktotch, Zimas was just a boy when the Empire fell, but even at a young age he was inspired by tales of the rebellion's heroics. He joined the new Republic's military officer program, eager to rebuild the republic his parents often spoke of.
During his time in the military, his comrades often noticed his lightning fast reflexes and almost prescient power of prediction. Mild precognition is a universal trait among Iktotchi, but Zimas demonstrated such powerful abilities that it could only mean he was one with the force.
When next off duty, he booked transport to Master Luke's Jedi temple to confirm his suspicions. He started his Jedi training, first learning about sensing the future, people's emotions and the presence of living beings.

Strength: Bravery
The character's bravery is quite remarkable. Whether facing down a
charging rancor or racing into a burning building to save innocents, he is
always willing to take risks to help others.
Weakness: Recklessness
Of course, a little thought can go a long way towards saving someone from
a major mistake, which this character may find out to his sorrow on more
than one occasion. Reckless behavior can leave him in dangerous situations
or at the mercy of more calculating individuals.
