R5-P3, aka Sherlock or "Lock", is usually on the ship and available to help pilot and/or calculate (skilled assist). Despite R5 units being notoriously lacking as interstellar mates, Lock has proven quite capable, sometimes piloting the Porg alone in a pinch.
