Notes
The flat stingray shaped ship is all smooth curves, and looks flat and small until you get up close and realize just how big the ship is. Up close one can not just see how big it is, but how heavily armored the vehicle is with flexible overlapping plates. Each plate overlapping forms a repeating pattern that looks like a strange mix of leaves, scales, and a geometric pattern that reveals the lead designers personal origins. Under the chin below the cockpit looking strongly like chelicerae the flexibly positioned heavy blaster cannons cover the whole fore arc of the ship while looking totally natural in context. On top is a smooth turret with another pair of heavy blaster cannons with full top of the ship coverage. Trailing behind the ship in the place of a stingray tail is a long heavy duty engineering and manipulator arm that can reach anywhere behind the vehicle. The tips of the wings are flexible, and the engines and maneuvering thrusters are on the ends of the wings, which gives it surprising maneuverability for such a heavy vehicle.
Going into the ship through the twin ramps on either side of the rear mounted manipulator, the interior of the ship is warm and comfortable, but with a tight feel to it. The seating all faces the back pair of ramps, angled for safety in case of a collision, and partially facing each other in an almost communal seating. In the center is the access and operating station for the turret, a passage leading to the cockpit. All of the interior paneling mirrors the repeating patterns outside, the textures almost like bark patterns on sand blasted rock. Every access panel is clearly labeled and easy to open, revealing complex systems within. The cockpit itself is comfortable, large enough for any operator, but otherwise feels like every cockpit you’ve ever been in. Sized for a Wookie, but with the feel of a standard Seinar cockpit, and excellent controls and visibility.
