The KSF-57 "Redshift" design is nearly half a century old, but still enjoys prominent use on the rim. A light fighter designed to be able to be carried by the largest possible amount of craft, the Redshift was at the forefront of Jedi and Republic to defeat the Sith once and for all. Many Redshifts were lost over Ruusan, and they are a common find among shiplifters. The venerable fighter is still popular amongst cash-strapped rim militaries and private security forces.
