Background

Sophie was born to a Zabrak mother and a human Father on the lower levels of Nar Shadda. Her father was a gunsmith, fixing, making, and modifying small arms for whoever paid. Her mother want Sophie to get some schooling and leave the slums however Sophie was always a tinkerer at heart. Growing up, she enjoyed learning from her father and tinkering with different things.

As she grew up however, she became more engrossed in her fathers world, the ugly side of it. He served to gangsters, hitmen, smugglers, slavers, spice runners, to anyone who paid. Sophie began to get involved in the criminal underworld through him, fixing up a blaster here, retooling a transponder code there. It was going alright until a hutt muscled his way into the slums, forcing the locals to either answer to him or pay the price. Sophie soon became a gunsmith for his gangsters and eventually a bounty hunter. She got good at it too but when a rival gang shot up her home and got her dad killed well... things changed, Sophie changed.

She went to a friend, Buck Oral, a member of the Tenloss Syndicate, to get her and her family out before the hutts gang wars killed them all. One night, masked men came to their home and smuggled her mother and two siblings out of the city while Buck helped her tie up loose ends. With that, Buck gave a comlink, telling Sophie to expect a call to return the favor. Failure to do so would endanger the lives of her family.

Now Sophie goes around the galaxy, living the life of a bounty hunter and a tinkerer, going from job to job.

Motivation

Code - Never Again: Sophie has sworn to never again fashion a tool, weapon, or piece of armor to those who would use it to harm someone who couldn't defend themselves. This often shows in her being reluctant to take on commissions for the building, modifying, and repairing of equipment unless she knows them well. In addition, if a crate of guns going to some criminals end up in the river...well that was just an accident.

Obligations

10 Favor: Sophie owes a big favor to Buck Oral and by extension the Tenloss Syndicate for resettling her family outside of Nar Shadda. Buck never said what this favor would look like but Sophie doesn't think it will be volunteering at a homeless shelter. And if she refuses... well, Buck knows where to apply pressure.

Description

Sophie had a Zabrak Mother and a Human Father though she takes after her mother when it comes to her stubborness. She stands at 5'7 with long black hair, brown eyes, and an array of small horns clustered near her forehead. When she's not working on a bounty in her armor, she's either wearing a tank top or a loose jacket with some cargo pants. She's always fiddling with something, weather a tool, a gun, or even some part of her clothes. The women speaks quickly and sometimes the words get lost together if Sophie gets to excited. Although, when faced with a unknown or uncomfortable situation, she shrinks from it and will often try to leave it.
