Riviks was born on Kintan to a violent society. Trained from a young age to be a strong Nikto warrior, he was the pride of his tribe.

Everything changed when a tribal feud festered into open warfare and he was lost in the fighting - skewered and left bleeding to death against a rock. That would have been the end of a short and violent life if not for the compassion and mercy of two rival tribe members who mended his wounds.

The experience proved eye-opening. Riviks gave up his warring ways and retired to the Endless Wastes of Kintan as a hermit. Meditation and communion with the spirits of nature revealed his sensitivity to the Force.

A great many years he spent living in the Wastes, furthering his connection to the natural world and acting as a guide and adjudicator for passing nomadic tribes. He came to be revered as a mystical figure. Often he would help ease tribal feuds, sometimes threatening terrible retribution should warfare erupt.

One day, a man and a woman came to see him. They were the ones who had saved his life in the past. Recently escaped from Imperial slavery and returned to Kintan, they implored Riviks to find their son Girad, Galactic Most Wanted, and bring it back to them. And so Riviks set forth from Kintan.

Riviks is all too familiar with the suffering caused by strife. He is moved by the suffering of others, but in turn shows very little patience for those who cause such pain.
