Slessk's natural propensity and talent for fighting led to him becoming a gladiator early on. He fought many opponents and earned the Scorekeeper's favour there, but there eventually came a time where he outgrew the coliseum he had fought in, its challenges stale.

He thus set out in search of more daunting challenges. He continued to best them and fill his bottomless jagannath quiver, until came such a time when he fought and vanquished the fearsome Wookiee warrior, Lorwahr ! It was a battle worthy of poem. With this final victory he had accumulated enough jagannath points that a place of honour at his goddess' side was all but guaranteed to him.

The glory would soon turn sour, as he was later captured by Imperial forces, being deemed a dangerous criminal. Slessk had been taken alive, the greatest humiliation to be suffered by a Trandoshan, his quiver emptied in an instant, a life's work abolished with a flick of the wrist.

Soon he escaped custody and was reborn with a new purpose. The Imperials had stolen his jagannath. He would kill every single one of them, earning his revenge and refilling his quiver.

When the time comes for Slessk to pass on, he must be found worthy, his jagannath quiver bursting in such a way that he would be granted a place of honour at the Scorekeeper's side ! But first he must earn this colossal amount of jagannath, and so he is always in search of bigger, better, stronger opponents to best so that he may fulfill his eternal destiny.
