Background
Dex is assembled from scrapped droids and hastily programmed as a translator by the Jawa, Na Het to aid him on his search for a formidable Wookie to take on a swoop gang.
Motivation
Dex's cobbled together origins produced a couple glitches in its programming..
Protocol droid brain for intelligence and translation database, with the body of (mostly) a small planetary survey drone and portions of that left over program files, created an odd combination of willfulness, arrogance and wanderlust.
As the programs integrated themselves, Dex developed a slight "erratic" way of interpreting its programming and instructions..
Command: Find Wookie, Interpret: Na Het never specified *which* Wookie.
Command:Return with Wookie, Interpret: Na Het never specified length of time, best to continue the search as long as able..
..knowledge of Galaxy expanding..and is Fascinating.
Conclusion: Delay completion of mission as long as able, after all, cannot be certain of Wookie qualifications if a large sample size has not been queried and studied.....
